Description
#SeeTheCityDifferently
Experience our informal and interactive guided tour of the Roundhouse, led by one of our expert guides and a British Sign Language (BSL) interpreter.
Find out all about the Roundhouse’s journey from canal wharf to noisy Victorian public works stables, right through to a modern-day heritage and wellbeing hub.
Find clues about the Roundhouse and unlock photos from the building’s past, while we ponder the question: why is it round?
The ticket price includes a hot drink at the end of the tour from our on site independently run café, Jonathans in the Roundhouse.
Please Note: The Roundhouse is extremely photogenic. Bring a fully charged smartphone.

Visitor Info
Meet us at the meeting point in the Roundhouse Visitor Centre 15 minutes before the advertised start time.
In order to assist our visitors who are deaf or hard of hearing, the interpreter will remain onsite for the duration of your visit and will meet you with our guide in the Visitor Centre.
Our Victorian cobbles can be a little uneven and steep in places, and most Roundhouse Birmingham experiences will involve some walking. This tour will involve plenty of movement around the site, so sturdy, sensible shoes are your friend.
Your guide will use audio systems to ensure that they are audible in the busy city environment. If you have headphones with a standard mini jack input, bring them along to use, if not, we have disposables (although we like to limit using them, for obvious reasons).
The audio systems are compatible with hearing loops which are available on arrival. If your whole group needs to use the audio loop, please let us know in advance so we can prepare.
Our guided tours and walks will go ahead whatever the weather so please plan accordingly.
