Assistant Business Services Co-ordinator

Are you an excellent administrator with a passion for heritage?

The National Trust, one of our partner organisations, are looking for an excellent administrator to support the day-to-day operations in the Birmingham Portfolio – the Roundhouse, Back to Backs and Clent Hills.
 
The role will be vital in providing support for the members of the property leadership team. You will answer internal and external queries, work with finance and procurement systems to make purchases for the property, take minutes at meetings, and support volunteer administration. You’ll work across all aspects of the Birmingham portfolio, from the facilities team, the operations team, the collections team and the rangers. In doing so, you’ll get to know what makes each place tick and you’ll become knowledgeable in all elements of the daily operations. You’ll be integral in keeping the business going across the seven-day opening.

Headline info:

  • The role is offered on a permanent contract.
  • The role is 37.5 hours per week, to include occasional weekends (on a rota basis).
  • Salary £19,305 per annum

Volunteering Experience Officer

Roundhouse Birmingham have an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about volunteer involvement, engagement and participation. Over the past few months, we’ve been recruiting and training our volunteer team in anticipation of our opening in July.

We are now looking for a Volunteering Experience Officer to continue these relationships and work to grow the team that will contribute towards the future success of this brand-new heritage attraction.

Headline info:

  • Part time – 4 days per week
  • £19,928 p/a pro rata
  • Occasional evening and weekend work required
  • Start date Monday 5 July
  • Fixed term until 30 September 2022

This new role, based in the Roundhouse Visitor Centre, will involve engaging with visitors, introducing them to the history of the Roundhouse, and making them feel welcome and at home in this beautiful city-centre heritage attraction and activity centre.

Headline info:

  • Annualised contract
  • £9.50 per hour
  • Regular shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Job share will be considered
  • Start date Wednesday 30 June
  • Fixed term until 30 September 2022
