Active Outdoor Apprentice

Roundhouse Birmingham are really excited to be working with Coach Core to be able to offer someone the amazing opportunity to become Roundhouse Birmingham’s first ever Active Outdoor Apprentice.

At Roundhouse Birmingham, we want to ‘do things differently, see things differently, and care for things differently’, and we reflect this in our tours by offering a truly unique experience to our visitors. Our tours are far from a standard museum style tour, the tours will be engaging and interactive and will mainly focus around being out and about.

We have big plans and the right person will play be crucial to rolling out new experiences and tours for Roundhouse Birmingham.

Headline info:

  • The apprenticeship will last between 13 & 18 months
  • 30 hours per week
  • National Minimum Wage
  • Weekday and weekend work required
  • NO PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

Volunteering Experience Officer

Roundhouse Birmingham have an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about volunteer involvement, engagement and participation. Over the past few months, we’ve been recruiting and training our volunteer team in anticipation of our opening in July.

We are now looking for a Volunteering Experience Officer to continue these relationships and work to grow the team that will contribute towards the future success of this brand-new heritage attraction.

Headline info:

  • Part time – 4 days per week
  • £19,928 p/a pro rata
  • Occasional evening and weekend work required
  • Start date Monday 5 July
  • Fixed term until 30 September 2022

Roundhouse Birmingham have an exciting opportunity for someone who is passionate about heritage, engagement and customer service.

This new role, based in the Roundhouse Visitor Centre, will involve engaging with visitors, introducing them to the history of the Roundhouse, and making them feel welcome and at home in this beautiful city-centre heritage attraction and activity centre.

Headline info:

  • Annualised contract
  • £9.50 per hour
  • Regular shifts are Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday
  • Job share will be considered
  • Start date Wednesday 30 June
  • Fixed term until 30 September 2022
