Online bookings for our tours are available until two hours before each tour. After this point, any remaining tickets will be available to purchase from our Visitor Centre. Please call to enquire about availability.

Tickets will be sent to you via email. Please check your e-tickets as soon as you receive them. You do not need to print your e-ticket, but please ensure you have them on your phone or similar device, so you’re able to show them when you check at the Visitor Centre.

Gift vouchers

Roundhouse Birmingham is pleased to be able to offer gift e-vouchers that can be redeemed against any of our activities, tours and merchandise.

Gift vouchers can be purchased in person from the Visitor Centre, or through our payment site via this page.

Vouchers purchased must be redeemed within the calendar year of purchase.

Please note that events which include catering do not qualify for a free carer ticket.
Please get in touch with us to discuss your individual requirements.

Private tours

If you would like to book a private tour, we’d be really happy to talk through this with you. Please Get in touch.

Group visits

See our dedicated Groups page for more information on group bookings.

Latecomers

Please make sure to arrive 15 minutes before your tour start time in order to check in at our Visitor Centre.

Most of our tours will have a short introduction at the starting location, so if you’re running a few minutes late there may be the chance to catch up. Unfortunately, if you miss the boat (pun intended) and the tour has already begun, it will be difficult to unite you with the group. There is no opportunity to be added to the group if you arrive over 10 minutes after the starting time. No refunds will be issued if you are late.

Refunds and exchanges

Please check your e-tickets or invoice as soon as you receive them. From the moment that the transaction is completed all tickets are non-refundable. We’re able to exchange them for an alternative date, dependent on availability. Exchanges can be made up to one week before the original booking date, after this point no exchanges are possible. We cannot refund money, except in the case of a cancelled tour, which will be refunded within 28 days.

Cancellations

If Roundhouse Birmingham need to cancel a tour, we will announce it as soon as possible. Please check our website, Facebook and Twitter pages regularly for updates. If you’ve bought tickets we will contact you, usually via email or telephone, and arrange a ticket refund or exchange.

If you make a private booking, whether room hire or for a tour, please familiarise yourself with our cancellation terms.

  • Full refund if cancelled with 1+ month notice of activity/hire date
  • 50% refund if cancelled between 2 weeks and one month of activity/hire date
  • No refund if cancelled within 2 weeks of activity/hire date

Room hire

All bookings must be made in advance directly to Roundhouse Birmingham staff using the contact form. A member of staff will contact you to confirm details of your booking.

Room hire booking terms:

  • Full payment is required to secure the booking.
  • Full refund if cancelled with 1+ month notice of activity/hire date
  • 50% refund if cancelled between 2 weeks and one month of activity/hire date
  • No refund if cancelled within 2 weeks of activity/hire date
  • Refunds are not available on any catering

Roundhouse Birmingham reserve the right to postpone or cancel any booking in the event of the building being unexpectedly closed. We will give the booker as much notice as possible of a postponement or cancellation and will endeavour to rearrange the hire to an alternative suitable date.

The Roundhouse has comprehensive risk assessments in place. However, it is the responsibility of the organisation hiring the space to carry out a risk assessment for their group. To assist, we can provide a general risk assessment information sheet. We also offer a free preliminary visit.
