Win a private kayak tour of Birmingham’s canals!
You and up to seven guests could win your own private kayak tour along Birmingham’s famous canals, on our award-winning Bustling Birmingham kayak tour.
You’ll discover Birmingham’s hidden heritage and have plenty of opportunities to see its landmarks from a different angle. Starting along the route of James Brindley’s first canal into Birmingham, that resulted in the industrial revolution booming, you’ll head towards the International Convention Centre, The Cube, The Mailbox and the heart of Britain’s canal system, Gas Street Basin.
You don’t need any kayaking experience, specialist clothing or equipment – but a basic level of fitness (walking up the stairs without being out of breath) will ensure you can enjoy our kayak experience.
All kayaks, paddles and safety equipment are provided. So you can just sit back, paddle and have fun!
How to enter
To enter this competition, simply join our email list using the form below. We’ll then select a winner at random on Wednesday 16th April, and be in touch with the winner within seven days to arrange a date for your tour.

Terms and conditions
1. By entering the prize draw you are agreeing to these prize draw terms and conditions.
2. The prize draw is being run by Roundhouse Birmingham. Registered charity number (England and Wales) 1169232.
Eligibility to enter
3. The prize draw is open to all UK residents over the age of 18 except employees of Roundhouse Birmingham.
4. The prize draw is free to enter.
5. In entering the prize draw, you confirm that you are eligible to do so and eligible to claim any prize you may win. Roundhouse Birmingham may require you to provide proof that you are eligible to enter the prize draw or competition.
6. A maximum of one entry per individual is permitted.
7. Roundhouse Birmingham reserves all rights to disqualify you if your conduct is contrary to the spirit or intention of the prize draw.
The draw
8. This is a prize draw for one person to win a private Bustling Birmingham tour with Roundhouse Birmingham for up to eight people. Children 8+ years can attend but must be accompanied by an adult. All attendees must have completed the Roundhouse kayak consent form before taking part. You can find it here – https://roundhousebirmingham.org.uk/kayak-consent-form/.
9. One winner will be chosen by random draw performed by a computer process within one month of the prize draw ending.
10. The winners will be notified by email within seven days of being chosen. If a winner does not respond Roundhouse Birmingham within 14 days of being notified, then the winner’s prizes will be forfeited, and Roundhouse Birmingham will be entitled to select another winner in accordance with the process described above.
11. This prize is valid from 1 April – 30 September 2025, and booking requires a minimum of 1 months notice to confirm the date. Failure to book will result in a forfeiting of the tickets.
12. The prize is non-exchangeable, non-transferable and no cash alternative is offered. Roundhouse Birmingham reserves the right to replace the prize with an alternative prize of equal or higher value if circumstances beyond its control makes it necessary to do so.
13. The decision of Roundhouse Birmingham regarding any aspect of the prize draw or competition is final and binding and no correspondence will be entered into about it.
14. Roundhouse Birmingham reserves the right to hold void, cancel, suspend, or amend the prize draw where it becomes necessary to do so.
How to enter
15. To enter you must sign up to the Roundhouse Birmingham mailing list.
16. The prize draw opens at 9am GMT on Saturday 22nd March and closes at 00:59 GMT on Tuesday 15th April.
17. Entries received after the stated closing date will not be accepted.
18. The prize draw is free to enter and no purchase is necessary.
19. Roundhouse Birmingham will not accept responsibility if contact details provided are incomplete or inaccurate.
20. Roundhouse Birmingham will not accept responsibility for entries that are lost, mislaid or delayed, regardless of cause, including, for example, as a result of any equipment failure, technical malfunction, systems, satellite, network, server, computer hardware or software failure of any kind.
