Roundhouse Birmingham is proud to announce that it has been named the winner of the New Tourism Business Award at the West Midlands Tourism Awards. The prestigious awards ceremony, which took place at Grand Station Wolverhampton, celebrated the best of tourism businesses across the region. 

The award recognises high-performing new tourism businesses, demonstrating an excellent understanding of their market, and exceeding the expectations of their customers with clear plans for future development. The judges were impressed by the care and thought that had gone into the people they engage with, including their customers, volunteers, and partners, and thought it was clear they had a people-first approach.

“We launched in 2021 just after lockdown and trying to establish ourselves after the pandemic has been challenging at times. But, it’s been great to see Birmingham come back to life after last year and to have been able to show so many visitors to the region what makes it special. Roundhouse Birmingham was also recognised by the West Midlands Tourism Awards in 2022, winning the Experience of the Year Award for their Bustling Birmingham kayak tour. They are now looking ahead to the future and the new season of tours and activities exploring the city, which launches on 6 April with a week of free and paid-for activities.
