About this experience

Discover Birmingham’s vibrant history on this brand new for 2025 limited run package tour! You’ll spend a day on and off the water starting with a boat tour with our friends, Brindley Cruises, before taking off into Birmingham on our Icons and Industry walking tour.

Set off on a relaxing journey through Birmingham’s historic canals – the very waterways that fuelled the Industrial Revolution. We’ll learn about the history of Gas Street Basin and the Worchester Bar, and we’ll pass the last original stable block for the W&B canal. This tour lasts approximately an hour, and you’ll see Birmingham from a completely different angle.

After an hour break (food and drink not included), we head off on a walking adventure through Birmingham’s vibrant past, from its industrial might, to the birthplace of heavy metal.

Our Icons and Industry tour combines history with fun, as you play a game we like to call ‘Birmingham Bingo’ – where you’ll tick off famous spots that start with ‘B’ as your tour guide takes your around the city.

Challenge yourself, discover hidden gems, and see if you can claim the title of Birmingham bingo champ! Dive into Birmingham’s incredible story in a way you’ve never experienced before.

The Roundhouse and Birmingham are extremely photogenic, so make sure to bring your camera!
