Our building is turning 150 and we’re throwing a party! Come and celebrate our birthday with us!
Were throwing a silent disco party in the tunnel of our grade II* listed building. Each guest will receive a pair of light-up headphones, filled with music for you to dance the night away in a truly unique space. Our site, courtyard and tunnel will be illuminated in colour.
This is the first time an event like this has happened in our space in 150 years. Be part of a truly unique party and celebrate our curious building. Our Visitor Centre will be open into the evening, so you can take a break from partying and learn a bit about the Victorian people (and horses) who made the Roundhouse a 24/7 hub for the city of Birmingham.
What should I wear?: Be sure to wear your best party outfit, but also wear comfortable shoes as you will be dancing on cobbles. The event is outdoors so please do wear appropriate clothing. Party hats optional, but heavily encouraged.
Great for: Celebrating our birthday with us! People wanting to experience our curious building differently. Groups looking for something fun and unique to do in the city centre.

Visitor Info
This event will go ahead in all but the worst of weather. If we do need to cancel due to poor weather, we will communicate at the earliest opportunity.
What to wear:
The party takes place outside, so please wear clothing appropriate for every weather. All equipment is provided for you, but please wear comfortable shoes as you’re going to be partying on cobbled flooring. Party hats optional, but heavily encouraged.
Checking in:
Please check in at the Roundhouse main gate on the corner of Sheepcote Street and St Vincent Street. Last entry for the silent disco is 9:00pm, if you arrive after this, you will sadly not be permitted to party with us.
What to bring:
The courtyard is laid to cobbles, so bring comfortable shoes.
Food/drink:
You're welcome to bring your own drinks, or pack a picnic if you'd like. There won't be any food or drink for sale. Before or during the event, you can grab a drink at our neighbour Ristorante Caffe Arena or next door at the Distillery.
