We need you! Roundhouse Birmingham, with the help of funding from Birmingham City Council, are excited to be starting a local Ladywood Walking group this year.
It’s a big year for us – our 4th summer calling this beautiful building our home and the Roundhouse building’s 150th Birthday – we’ve got so many exciting things ahead.
International Women’s Day 2024 | In this special #InternationalWomensDay blog post, we revisit our Herstory of Birmingham zine, and share a new research discovery about a female woodturner who worked a few doors down from the Roundhouse.
Roundhouse Birmingham’s own Lily-Rose Sheppard is a finalist in this year’s VisitEngland Tourism Superstar awards! Please vote for her and celebrate the incredible work she does!
This month’s blog is a guest blog from Ella, one of our wonderful Visitor Centre Assistants. She shares how she wards off the winter blues and cares for her mental health during the darker nights.
Tuesday 10th October is World Mental Health Day. With one in eight people living with mental health conditions, it’s important to shine a light on not only the conditions, but the ways to get help and live well with them.
While both activities involve paddling on the water, there are some key differences to consider. In this blog post, we’ll compare stand up paddleboarding and kayaking to help you decide which activity is right for you.
Each year Roundhouse Birmingham partner up with Canal & River Trust’s Heritage Working Boat Group to offer trips around the local canal loops.
